Two disabled platforms for the Marina Centre
Together with our partner Barr+Wray, we have successfully completed a project in Great Yarmouth, England. Our technicians were involved in the installation of a 15×8 meter movable pool floor at the Marina Centre. Additionally, we have installed two disabled platforms in the swimming pool, which can be operated with a single touch screen. These lifts have been installed using the unique Variopool floating system, ensuring compliance with Search Engine Proof (SEP) requirements.
Two disabled platforms side by side
The two disabled platforms are positioned side by side in the pool area. One of the pools features the Variopool movable floor, equipped with a staircase that adjusts according to the height of the floor. Adjacent to this pool, a Poolpod is placed at the edge. In the other pool, the two lifts are installed, with dimensions of 1.75 x 1.5 meters and 1.5 x 1.5 meters respectively. This arrangement eliminates waiting times, allowing swimmers to conveniently utilize the lifts even while using a wheelchair.
Did you know that Variopool has a dedicated division specifically focused on this market, specializing in therapy pools? These pools are often smaller in size, but our engineers are capable of designing a customized movable pool floor tailored for such applications.
